The Newport Junior Global Summit is a dedicated youth leadership experience held in conjunction with the Newport Global Summit. Founded by Jack Bradley Matheson, the program cultivates intellectual curiosity and inspires the next generation of entrepreneurs and innovators by connecting young leaders with world-class founders, innovators, military strategists, historians, investors, and business executives whose ideas and actions continue to shape the world.
Building on the Newport Global Summit's mission of legacy, knowledge, and purpose, the Junior Summit gives emerging leaders the opportunity to learn directly from accomplished changemakers across business, technology, public service, and academia. Through diverse perspectives and engaging conversations, participants will deepen their understanding of entrepreneurship, capitalism, innovation, and leadership while gaining inspiration to think critically about the world around them while exploring how great ideas become meaningful impact.
The inaugural Newport Junior Global Summit will take place Monday, August 17, 2026, from 2:00–5:30 PM in the Gardiner House Sunroom in Newport, Rhode Island. Inspired by Steve Forbes' educational series on America's greatest entrepreneurs, the program offers students direct access to the experiences, lessons, and ideas of leaders who have built companies, pioneered new technologies, and influenced industries around the world.
