The Newport Global Summit is an annual event hosted in Newport, Rhode Island, to bring together leaders of the global economy to share knowledge and build bridges for cooperation through business and investment.

Newport, Rhode Island is known for its Golden Age of the Colonial Era and its Gilded Age Mansions on the shores of the Atlantic. Presidents Kennedy and Eisenhower both made Newport the site of their "Summer White Houses" during their years in office. Newport is known for its historic sailing, the New York Yacht Club at Harbourcourt, the U.S. Naval War College, the International Tennis Hall of Fame, the Newport Art Museum, the historic Newport Jazz Festival, and the Newport Folk Festival.

In this natural setting, with waves of renaissance and entrepreneurial spirit over centuries before us, we are inspired to explore new possibilities for economic prosperity and alignment.

Guests of previous events have said it is the entrepreneurial spirit and quality of long-term business relationships formed that sets this event apart from other conferences they have attended.

LETTER FROM THE FOUNDER
Katharine (Kitty) B. Cushing

7 Sisters is a consulting business formed in 2011 with the primary purpose of helping U.S. Companies broaden global business relationships in a world with increasing demand for adaptability.

My traditional business acumen was inspired by generations of great business leaders I have had the privilege to know. Among them, my grandfather and great mentor, Forrester (Tim) Clark, was the CEO of HC Wainwright & Company where I built the foundation of my business career.  My step-grandfather, Benjamin Brewster Jennings, Chairman of Socony, was one of the legendary Seven Sisters of the oil industry and one of the four partners to form ARAMCO.   The inspiration is a symbol of our commitment to fostering lasting global relationships.

7 Sisters has a broad and deep set of relationships with CEOs and family business enterprises worldwide.  We believe in bringing our clients and relationships together to share knowledge and build bridges for cooperation.

7 Sisters has led numerous investment forums, special briefings, and global leadership retreats.

The 7 Sisters team is committed to building lasting strategic relationships between U.S. companies and global partners. We invite you to collaborate with us!
