Kevin McCarthy is the CEO of Unreal Snacks, a mission-based chocolate snack company that is changing the world by proving the foods we love most don’t have to be so bad for us. Kevin was born and raised in the Greater Boston area. He graduated from Harvard College in 2014 and was a 4-year member of the varsity golf team. 

While in college, Kevin was the first volunteer for Seth Moulton's first congressional campaign. After graduation, he became a field director on the campaign team, helping to unseat an 18-year incumbent member of Congress within the Democratic Party. This was the only Democratic primary upset in the 2014 election cycle. 

Kevin then took the natural pivot from campaign politics to better-for-you confection, joining Unreal in November 2014, helping to drive the brand from zero retail doors of distribution to over 30,000 retail doors today, making Unreal the #1 better-for-you chocolate brand in the US. Kevin now lives in Newton, MA, with his wife, Brianne, and two children.
