J.P. Keating is a venture capitalist operating at the intersection of supply chain, national security, and industrial infrastructure. As founder of proChain Ventures, he backs early-stage companies rebuilding the systems that move energy, materials, and goods at global scale.

A 25+ year corporate operator across aerospace, energy, and global manufacturing, Keating has led inside complex supply chains where failure is not theoretical - it is operational, financial, and strategic. His experience spans procurement, sales, logistics, corporate venture, and governance, giving him a ground-level view of where systems break and where advantage is created.

He invests with an operator’s lens, partnering with founders solving mission-critical problems in mobility, autonomy, and resilient infrastructure - areas central to economic competitiveness and national security. Keating is known for identifying overlooked leverage points in industrial systems and positioning companies ahead of where capital is moving next. Notable investments include Regent Craft, Natilus, Intramotev, Avol Aerospace, and Logic.

He is a double graduate of Saint Louis University and is an active member of the National Defense Transportation Association (NDTA), the National Security Crossroads Alliance (NSCA), The National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), the Center for Global Competition and Innovation (CGCI), and The Explorers Club.
