George Tilghman

 Co-Founder & Managing Partner of GTR Capital Partners

George Tilghman oversees investment underwriting, transaction execution, and strategic capital relationships at GTR Capital Partners, an independent sponsor focused on critical infrastructure and founder‑led businesses in the physical economy.

Before co‑founding GTR, George worked in Investment Banking at Barclays covering Technology, Media, and Telecom, advising on transactions totaling more than $30 billion. He previously served as an analyst at Boxwood Partners, specializing in founder‑led home services transactions, and began his career at Brown Brothers Harriman in FX and Treasury services.

He holds an MBA from the UVA Darden School of Business and a B.A. from Trinity College.
