Jason Feitelberg

Director of Business Development

Jason Feitelberg is the Director of Business Development at Sterling Resources, a leading boutique life insurance agency specializing in intergenerational wealth transfer and accumulation strategies for UHNW families.

As the fourth generation in his family in the insurance industry, Jason leads the firm's Institutional Business Development. He builds relationships with corporate, nonprofit, wealth fund, and family office clients. He works domestically and internationally, emphasizing Latin America, Europe, and Africa.

Jason also serves as a Senior Advisor to The House of Mandela, leading global initiatives to showcase African creativity and collaborating with Nelson Mandela's descendants. In addition to upholding the brand's principles of pride in heritage, celebrating African royal history, and promoting diversity, he plays a key role in business development by facilitating licensing and commercial agreements.

In 2008, Jason began working with Crossroads for Kids, a youth development nonprofit and currently serves as Trustee & Development Chair. The inspiration for this stems from two childhood events. One is the story of a friend facing difficult life circumstances; the other is an impactful childhood encounter with Saint Teresa of Calcutta (Mother Teresa).

His first steps in charitable work came in high school, working in soup kitchens. Still, during a Semester at Sea journey in 2003, he visited many countries, including Cuba, Brazil, South Africa, and India, and experienced the impact of his actions. He witnessed a way of life removed from necessities and seen as ordinary. He worked with locals to improve education, and his experience in Cape Town inspired him to work with The House of Mandela. In India, things came full circle while working at an orphanage run by Mother Teresa’s Missionaries of Charity nearly ten years after they met.

Jason earned a BS in Business Administration from Colby-Sawyer College.
